Leaving Egypt in a not so spiritual way

Passover this year began on Wednesday eve the 12th of April. The exit from Egypt was accompanied with the most deliciours gefilte at the community seder and plenty of matzot.
The weekend of the Passover week was going to be equal devided between my parents - yes, they are happily marriged but not to each other.
I must say that age and experience does not make most people stronger, when it comes to standing through a traditional Danish Easter lunch. I had abstained from beer during the lunch trying to keep one of the pesach mitzvot. Never going to do that again... I was not a pretty sight!
Nu, Sunday morning I had to return to Mea Valby as I went down the a true case of Roskilde or Norwalk disease. So that was the very end to family-get-togetherings or socializing. I have went into a selfchosen solitariness out of campassion with my fellow human beings.
